– EXPERIENCED DJ PERSONALITY–

Pat Gary has been a radio and nightclub DJ entertainer for over twenty years. Tasteful interaction with your guests is a Pat Gary trademark. With a background in Charlotte radio and nightclubs, Pat combines the smooth delivery of a radio announcer with the music mixing talents of a club DJ. This winning combination keeps your guests entertained and on the dance floor.

Pat holds a Bachelor of Arts in Radio, TV and Motion Pictures and has been involved with entertainment since 1975. To gain radio experience, Pat worked at several radio stations while attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Pat also worked for the University Television Network as an announcer and an on camera host of "Summer Sounds" a weekly television show broadcast statewide on the University Television Network. After graduation Pat moved to Charlotte and began working for WSOC radio. "At night I was moonlighting at a local nightclub, with the advent of disco, there was a big demand for announcers with mixing talents". Because of the early success in nightclubs, Pat decided to go into entertainment by starting a company that would cater recorded entertainment for dancing.

Pat Gary began entertaining at small parties and wedding receptions. In a short time the clients grew as well as the size of the show. Before long Pat was playing at High Schools and Colleges across the Carolinas. In 1977, Carowinds became the first theme park to initiate a dancing program by booking Pat's fantastic show every Saturday night. "Disco Pat" and the dances in Harmony Hall were a big success. Carowinds featured the show from 1977 until 1981. In l981 the Magic Attic at the Myrtle Beach Pavilion hired Pat and his show to do seven nights a week entertaining teenagers in the Magic Attic. Pat worked every summer at the Magic Attic from l981 to l985, until the Pavilion decided to install their own sound and light show. Thousands of teenagers were exposed to Pat's show. This exposure kept Pat booked throughout the Carolinas at High School Homecoming Dances and Proms as well as College Dances.

The years since l985 have been very busy for Pat. He has entertained thousands of people and played in hundreds of venues. Pat has done hundreds of Birthday Parties, Wedding Receptions, High School Proms, School Dances, Christmas Parties, Country Club Parties, College Dances and Corporate Functions. From 1980 until 1990 The Homestead, a five star resort hotel in Hot Springs, Virginia, featured Pat's show in the nightclub every Christmas and New Year's eve. Pat has also done over ten corporate functions at the five star hotel The Greenbriar in White Sulphure Springs, Virginia.

In 1990 Pat added Karaoke to his services. The karaoke has been a big hit with small nightclubs and bars. Pat now has over 4,000 songs available on the big karaoke system with two small karaoke systems for private party rentals.

Bringing the best sound, lighting, music and Karaoke to the people of the Carolinas and presenting it in a professional way is Pat's main objective. He is considered a leader in the entertainment industry because of his years of experience, professionalism and willingness to please the people he is working with.
